FOSCI Observes National Crime Victims’ Rights Week
To raise public awareness, FOSCI observed National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) in Jacksonville, Florida. FOSCI was busy promoting victims’ rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf.
NCVRW is the Office for Victims of Crime’s (OVC) annual observance promoting victims’ rights throughout the country. OVC is one of seven components within the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
In 2014, NCVRW was observed April 6–12, 2014 and the theme was “30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice.“
