FOSCI's Wall Of Compassion

Our Loved Ones Are Never Forgotten!

A Wall of Compassion

Names on FOSCI’s Wall of Compassion continues to grow due to violence and homicide . . .
We must make every effort to Stop The Violence!

Our hearts belong to our children. No parent wants to mourn their child.  It does not matter if the child is 5 or 55, a parent’s heart aches when saying good bye to a child. We want to remember our children and the joy they brought into our lives.  We have discovered may parents find solace seeing their child’s name on the Memorial Wall (Wall of Compassion).

In 2007, FOSCI placed each name on a cross and placed the stakes into the ground.  However, we have expanded to over 3,000 name and unfortunately, by the end of the year we will have over 5,000 names listed.

Each week someone shares their compelling story regarding the loss of a loved one. We never want to tell someone we are unable to add a name or photo; therefore, they can submit their loved one’s name and a picture, and we will do our best to update the wall. However, we can only update them when we have enough funding to purchase new walls.

Everyone reacts differently to seeing their beloved child’s name and photo, many gain peace in knowing their child’s life held a purpose and others become very somber as they will never hold their child again. The wall shows their death was not in vain. We want to turn the tide in Jacksonville, Florida and stop the violence. If you see something say something. Keep our neighborhoods clean and safe!

We are working to turn the tide in Jacksonville, Florida. Although, we will never forget our loved one’s loss to murder, we must end this vicious cycle of violence and homicide.  We can only do this with the help of the community and people like you who give so generously of your time and cash donations.

Help us keep the light on the names of these victims and help us let the world know that we are fighting to decrease the homicide rate in Jacksonville and here to help Homicide Survivors every step of the way.
