FOSCI, in partnership with Feeding Northeast Florida and other local food banks, sponsors food giveaway events at their facility. This helps our local communities as well as provides supports to survivors' families.

People who are in grief seldom have the energy to reach out and find what resources are available in the community or to get through the daily tasks of living and their ability to concentrate may be very poor at times. The FOSCI staff is often seen delivering food to homicide survivors' homes or providing food during FOSCI Food Giveaway events to help hurting families. FOSCI has fed thousands of people in need.

Families in communities throughout Jacksonville continue to face tremendous grief and hardships due to the loss of loved ones. FOSCI offers free support for these families thanks to your donations of time, money, clothing, food, and caring hearts. FOSCI's outlook is bright for the coming years in carrying out its key objectives. These objectives include helping Jacksonville communities' lower crime rates through community awareness workshops, offering support groups, feeding the hungry, and developing more partnerships with local citizens, law enforcement and government officials.
