Terry Powell

Confident man in a navy suit and colorful tie stands on a city street.

Terry Powell, a Jacksonville, Florida native and graduate of Bethune-Cookman University (B.S. - Business Administration: Management) and later a graduate of University of Phoenix (MBA - Business Administration), has had varied professional experiences in the fields of customer service, education, program management, contract management, procurement, and grant management. His late mentor, Richard McKissick, instilled the value of a foundational education (whether formal or informal) as being the catalyst through which all other things may be built. Mr. McKissick has also left Terry with the indelible marks left from inconveniencing oneself to impact another, as well as understanding that elevation may be integral in speaking up for those who are oftentimes forgotten. Terry sees every space that he is privileged to hold as an opportunity to effectuate change.
